Over the last two weeks, the children have had lots of fun visiting Bolton Fire Station. They even managed the long walk there and back, and were rewarded with lots of exciting things to see and do on the visit… squirting the powerful hose, trying on the helmet, watching the cherry picker swing above their heads and seeing all the heavy equipment a firefighter needs to wear. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who helped on the visit, we hope you had a good time too!

On Friday 16th November Reception children donned their wellies, hats, scarves and gloves and headed out for a Bonfire Party. Mrs Proctor let off fireworks, Miss Bevon lit the sparklers and Miss Brierley kept the bonfire going. Children enjoyed toasted marshmallows and chocolate bananas and had fun writing their name with sparklers.
